Bali - PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia (Tugure) is committed to integrating sustainable practices into all of its operational processes. This commitment is reflected in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Electronic Documents (e-doc) with its business partners, Asuransi Rama Satria Wibawa and Asuransi Umum Bumiputera Muda 1967.
Tugure's Technical Director, Mr. Fadlil Iswahyudi, stated that in this ever-evolving digital era, this MOU signifies Tugure's dedication to utilizing electronic document technology as an efficient, environmentally friendly, and innovative tool for conducting its business.
"This will also help us respond more quickly to changes, collaborate more effectively, and strengthen our cooperation in achieving success together while supporting sustainability efforts," he expressed during the signing of the MOU on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Fadlil explained that Tugure has been committed to this program since 2016 and has already partnered with 17 business associates. He added that Tugure intends to continue adding new partners to this program.
Fadlil made it clear that Tugure believes that achieving sustainability requires a commitment from all stakeholders, including those in the insurance and reinsurance industry, to protect the environment, promote socially responsible business practices, and create long-term value for all parties involved.
"This MOU is the first step in our efforts to achieve those sustainability goals," he emphasized.
The MOU document not only represents a formal agreement but also symbolizes Tugure's commitment, along with its partners, to achieve common goals and build a strong relationship.
Fadlil hopes that the signing of this document marks a bright beginning for further cooperation with its two business partners, while remaining committed to the principles of sustainability.
"Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this journey to today. May this MOU serve as a strong foundation for achieving all the goals we have set together, including the sustainability goals that we believe will bring positive benefits to the environment and society," he concluded.
