Tugure Holds Blood Donation Drive with Tugu Group and Business Partners to Support Indonesia’s Nat

Jakarta, June 17, 2026 – PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia (Tugure) once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by organizing a blood donation drive themed "Steady Giving, Lifesaving Breakthrough." The initiative brought together Tugure employees, Tugu Group personnel, business partners, and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) DKI Jakarta to support the availability of safe blood supplies for patients in need.

The event was attended by Beky Mardani, Dr. Siti Rachmi, Tugure’s management team, and blood donors representing various companies and business partners.

PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia’s Finance Director, Dradjat Irwansyah, stated that blood donation is one of the simplest forms of contribution that can create a meaningful impact on society.

"Through this initiative, we invite all members of Tugure, Tugu Group, and our business partners to take part in a tangible humanitarian effort. Every unit of blood donated represents hope for those in need. This spirit reflects this year’s theme, Steady Giving, Lifesaving Breakthrough, where consistent acts of kindness can create extraordinary impact," said Dradjat.

He added that the blood donation program reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability, which is demonstrated not only through business performance but also through social contributions that create lasting value for the wider community.

On the same occasion, Beky Mardani expressed his appreciation for the support provided by Tugure and all blood donation participants. According to him, the demand for blood in Jakarta reaches approximately 1,000 to 1,200 units per day, making the participation of corporations and the public essential in maintaining adequate blood supplies.

"What has been done today is truly meaningful and valuable for many people. We are grateful that public awareness of blood donation continues to grow. Support from companies and communities such as Tugure plays a significant role in helping PMI meet the blood needs of patients," Beky said.

He also explained that blood donation benefits not only recipients but also donors. The donation process stimulates the production of new blood cells, contributing to better overall health. In addition, a single unit of donated blood can be separated into several blood components, potentially helping up to three different patients.

Beky further noted that despite advances in medical science, no synthetic substitute has yet been able to fully replicate the functions of human blood. Therefore, voluntary blood donation remains the primary source for meeting Indonesia’s national blood supply.

"Our responsibility is not only to maintain an adequate blood supply but also to ensure the safety and quality of every unit of blood provided to patients. Every donor participating today has contributed not only to saving lives but also to supporting the quality of healthcare services," he added.

Through this initiative, Tugure hopes to continue fostering a culture of giving and social responsibility among its employees and business partners while supporting PMI’s efforts to maintain a safe, reliable, and high-quality blood supply for communities across Indonesia.
