Successfully Managing Strategic Communication on Reinsurance Resilience, Tugure Wins Best Public Rel

PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia (Tugure) has once again earned recognition for its consistent commitment to advancing reinsurance resilience strategies. Tugure received the Best Public Relations 2026 in Promoting Resilient Reinsurance Strategies through Strategic Public Engagement (Category: Reinsurance) award at the Indonesia Public Relations Awards (IPRA) 2026, organized by Warta Ekonomi.

The award was granted based on a digital media monitoring assessment methodology that analyzed the Company’s communication exposure through press releases, mainstream and online media coverage, social media activities, and official corporate digital channels. All communication data were comprehensively evaluated throughout the 2024–2025 period.

Through a strategic and sustainable public communication approach, Tugure was recognized for effectively communicating the importance of reinsurance resilience in supporting the stability of Indonesia’s insurance industry amid increasing risk complexity and global challenges.

Eko Susanto, Corporate Secretary Group Head of PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia, stated that the award reflects the Company’s consistency in positioning communication as an integral part of its business strategy.

“This award is the result of Tugure’s commitment to building open, consistent, and strategic communication, particularly in conveying the role of reinsurance as a key pillar of industry resilience. We believe that strong public communication will strengthen stakeholder trust and support the sustainability of the Company’s performance,” said Eko.

In line with this strategy, Tugure is also supported by strong financial fundamentals, reflected in total equity of IDR 1.753 trillion as of December 2025, representing a 15% increase compared to the previous year, as well as total assets of IDR 6.884 trillion maintained at a solid level. This strong balance sheet serves as an important foundation for the Company to manage risks prudently, maintain stakeholder confidence, and ensure long-term business sustainability.

In addition, the Company’s performance was reflected in gross premiums of IDR 3.5 trillion and investment income of IDR 223 billion as of December 2025, both managed optimally to further strengthen Tugure’s position as a resilient and trusted national reinsurance company.

This award reaffirms the strategic role of Public Relations in supporting the achievement of corporate business objectives, strengthening reputation, and building credible and impactful public communication for Indonesia’s reinsurance industry.
