Tugure Collaborates with Business Partners to Donate COVID-19 Emergency Response Aid

Jakarta, April 20, 2020 - Tugure, in collaboration with its business partners, has donated emergency response aid for COVID-19. To celebrate its 33rd anniversary, which fell on April 2, 2020, PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia (Tugure) raised donations to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers who are at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic response. Tugure, in its 33rd anniversary celebration, urged its business partners to replace flower arrangements with electronic cards or donations in the form of goods or funds for COVID-19 mitigation.

Mr. Adi Pramana, the President Director of Tugure, explained, "As fellow citizens, we are concerned about the global COVID-19 pandemic, especially the one happening in Indonesia. As an expression of our care and social responsibility, Tugure invites its business partners to participate in combating this outbreak. It may not be much, but this is our tangible manifestation of appreciation for the healthcare workers who are at the forefront of this battle against COVID-19."

The donations, including 200 sets of complete safety suits, 850 KN95 masks, 200 face shields and goggles, and 1,000 pairs of gloves, were handed over directly by Mr. Adi Pramana, accompanied by Mr. Ade Kananda, the Operational Director, to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, received by the Head of the Hospital, Brigadier General Dr. dr. Rusdianto M.M, MSi, DFM, and to the Rawalumbu Bekasi Hospital, received by the Head of the Hospital, Dr. Andini Sarikantiredjeki MARS.

In addition to the complete PPE provided to the two hospitals, Adi Pramana added, "We also distributed hand sanitizers to motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) and street vendors, totaling approximately 500 packages consisting of masks, hand sanitizers, and vitamin C, in the areas of Jakarta, Bekasi, and Tangerang. As part of our social responsibility in the vicinity of our office, we also provided disinfectants to mosques and public service offices by distributing 20 drums of disinfectant and 15 drums of hand sanitizers."

In its active role in preventing the spread of COVID-19, Tugure implemented a Work From Home (WFH) policy while remaining committed to providing excellent service to its business partners. Tugure urged all employees and their families to comply with the government's guidelines by maintaining good health, practicing regular handwashing, ensuring family cleanliness, and reducing activities outside the home.

"We hope that our efforts can alleviate the situation and be well received. We express our gratitude to the business partners who have participated in this activity," concluded Adi Pramana.
