Tugure Donates to 5 Traditional Villages in Bali

Denpasar, Bali — As part of its commitment to supporting the preservation of Indonesian culture, PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia (Tugure) has donated IDR 100 million to five traditional villages in Bali.

Tugure’s President Director, Teguh Budiman, expressed that the company views cultural preservation as a key element of its commitment to sustainability.

"With advancing modernization, if we as Indonesians do not directly engage in cultural preservation, it will be lost over time. Therefore, preserving cultural heritage is a responsibility that must be shared and passed down," he stated.

The five traditional villages and their respective support programs include:

  1. Banjar Bunutan, Kadewatan - (Baleganjur music lessons)

  2. Banjar Semana, Singakerta - (Gebogan ceremonial arrangement lessons)

  3. Banjar Jukut Paku, Singakerta - (Traditional Balinese clothing lessons)

  4. Banjar Mas, Sayan - (Traditional Balinese dance lessons)

  5. Banjar Pengosekan Kaja - (Canang offering-making lessons)

All Tugure employees participated in this CSR initiative. Teguh added that this engagement was intended to foster a shared sense of social responsibility within the company.

“In addition to the donation, we launched a campaign with all employees, encouraging them to share information and their experiences from the cultural lessons on their social media accounts. Our hope is that this campaign will inspire the wider community to continue supporting cultural heritage preservation,” he concluded.
