Tugure Wins Two Prestigious Awards in October

JAKARTA – PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia (Tugure) has once again demonstrated its remarkable achievements by receiving two prestigious awards in October. Tugure was honored at the Indonesia Best Insurance Awards 2024 organized by Warta Ekonomi and also received the PR of The Year 2024 award from MIX Magazine.

At the Indonesia Best Insurance Awards 2024, Tugure won the title of Indonesia Best Reinsurance 2024 for Implementing Risk Selection Strategy toward Collaborative Business Lines in the category for reinsurance companies with total assets between Rp5-10 trillion. This award is a testament to external recognition of Tugure’s risk management strategy, which focuses on developing collaborative business lines.

Tugure’s success is attributed to the company's solid performance. As of June 2024, based on unaudited financial statements, Tugure reported gross premiums of Rp2 trillion, marking a significant 26% year-on-year (yoy) growth compared to the same period in 2023. The company also honored its commitment to business partners, recording approved claims of Rp705.12 billion. Meanwhile, Tugure’s asset growth reached 27% (yoy) by the end of the first semester of 2024, with total assets amounting to Rp6.80 trillion, up from Rp5.37 trillion.

Teguh Budiman, President Director of Tugure, expressed that this achievement is the result of the hard work of the entire team amidst a dynamic industry. "This award is a recognition for the whole Tugure team who consistently strive to maintain and improve the company’s performance," said Teguh.

Additionally, Tugure was awarded the PR of The Year 2024 in the Program of the Year category with an excellent rating from MIX Magazine. This recognition was awarded for Tugure's innovative initiative in the Employee Gathering x Employee Volunteering program held in May 2024. The program aimed to enhance human resource quality to achieve sustainable progress that could inspire the industry.

One of the highlights of the program was the Amazing Race, which combined outbound activities with corporate social responsibility (CSR). As part of this activity, Tugure donated Rp100 million to a traditional village in Bali as part of its cultural preservation campaign. All employees actively participated in this campaign through social media, sharing experiences and insights about Balinese culture.

"This award reflects that Tugure has a solid team committed to providing the best services to our partners and society," added Teguh.

With these achievements, Tugure continues to establish its position as a leading reinsurance company committed to making positive contributions to the industry and society at large.
