He is commonly known as Niko. He began his career at PT Reasuransi Nasional Indonesia (Nasional Re) in 2002. He holds three insurance certifications, both national and international, in both conventional and Sharia insurance, and is also a holder of three risk management degrees as well as national competency standards, with nearly 22 years of experience in the reinsurance industry.
Initially educated as an Engineering Underwriter, he has held various positions throughout his career at Nasional Re. He started his career in the Facultative Division as an Engineering Underwriter. In 2007, after completing his education at MII Malaysia, he was transferred to the Sharia Reinsurance Division as a Facultative Underwriter, handling all COB Facultative General Reinsurance. 
He has served as the Head of General Reinsurance in the Sharia Reinsurance Division at Nasional Re, managing Treaty, Claims, Retrocession, and Facultative. He then became the Head of the Facultative Division in 2017, which was the backbone of the company in achieving its premium budget targets. 
In 2021, he was again trusted to become the Head of the Sharia Reinsurance Division, managing Loss and Life Reinsurance, including Retrocession placement, investments, and financial reporting. 
In 2022, he was entrusted to become the Head of the Corporate Transformation Division as well as the chairman of the PMO for the revitalization of Nasional Re, and in 2023, he was trusted to become the Head of the Business and Data Analytics Division. 
On April 22, 2024, according to the decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders, he was appointed as the Candidate for Technical Director of PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia. Through the OJK letter number KEP-325/PD.02/2024 dated June 28, 2024, he was declared to have passed the Fit and Proper Test to become the Technical Director of PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia.
